Rear extension in Parsons Green, London: a 240 sqm, five-bedroom Victorian terrace project comprising a single-storey rear extension (to the side of the existing back addition) and a full internal refurbishment across three floors. As Melissa Collaro Design in Fulham, we managed the planning application and produced the building control and construction drawings, supporting a smooth route from approvals through to delivery. The extension creates a brighter, better-connected ground floor and a stronger relationship with the garden, with a new skylight bringing natural light into the open-plan kitchen. Throughout the home, we balanced contemporary updates with original character, preserving the historic mosaic floor in the entrance corridor and retaining Victorian coving details, seamlessly blended with a modern kitchen design
